Hercesa Foundation organised in 2004 the First Edition of the "Javier Morales" Young Architects Prize, in which any architect who is under 35 years of age and a member of any Spanish professional society can participate.

The Young Architects Prize Javier Morales was born as a posthumous tribute to remember and Javier Morales, a young architect who developed his business in Hercesa and who died in July 2003.The idea was to offer a recompense for and motivate values such as professionalism, creativity and the search for innovative solution.

The primordial objective of this edition was to select an architectural project for the construction of 112 Social Houses, developed by Hercesa Inmobiliaria, and located in Plot H1 of the SP-04 " Las Cañas 1" in Guadalajara.
The purpose of the second edition of the competition held in 2006, was the selection of an architectural proposal for the construction of a hotel promoted by Hercesa, to be located in the parcel TO-2 belonging to the Partial Plan of Arrangement UZP-Villaverde 1.05 -Neighborhood "Butarque", Madrid.
The purpose of the third edition of the competition held in 2008, has been the selection of an architectural proposal for the construction of a parish promoted by the diocese of Alcala de Henares which will be located in Sector R-8 "Hueros" Villalbilla of (Madrid).
This edition features the novelty of being open for registration as well, students from fourth and fifth course, as well as those who are carrying out the project so as to race until the registration deadline.
